It’s a well-known fact that Filipinos love to eat. To be fair, I think everyone from around the world loves sitting down and enjoying a good meal with family and friends. With openings of new restaurants, establishments, and food bazaars. Filipinos have been expanding their palate to different types of cuisine from around the world.

One growing interest in terms of food are hearty British favorites. The famous fish ‘n chips has travelled through oceans to reach the Philippine shores. If you’re looking for new dishes to try, we listed down our must-try British food in Sta. Rosa Laguna!

An old time favorite of Pinoys and Brits alike. A modified old British classic fish and chips, this dish has deep-fried crisp fish sticks and chips perfect for finger food in between friendly matches of darts or ping-pong!

This dish brings two of Ireland’s famous produce, juicy beef and Guinness beer. Slowly cooked for a long period of time that tenderizes the beef with flavorful beer that soaks inside the meat producing a thick sauce.

A heavier replacement to the Tapsilog, this traditional British breakfast of baked beans, meat sausages, bacon, eggs, with a side of tomatoes and bread (or rice!) to keep you full and ready for the long day ahead.

Also known as sausages and mash, is a traditional British dish that has different meat sausages served and coated with a savory onion gravy, fried onions, or peas together with mashed potatoes that keep your stomach and your warm and full of love.

This dish includes variants of beef strips steamed until tender then sautéed with onions and mushrooms. The dish is stopped and finished off with a sour cream sauce and fresh dill with rice on the side – the Pinoy staple.
